  "Truth Brings Not Peace, But A Sword" talk Jehovah's Witnesses 2013 convention

  i'm at the convention now (by parental force) and i just heard in the saturday talk "truth brings not peace, but a sword" about how it's a terrible "torture stake" that witnesses are disinherited by their worldly families when they choose to join the jehovah's witness religion and how awful and painful that is for a person to endure.

  switch the situation around and you'll find it is exactly what happens to those who choose to leave the organization, but only then is it okay because "disfellowshipped people need to be disciplined"?

  this is absolutely ridiculous.

  well... not yet (it was just a thing that was bugging my brains today).

  do you remember as a child or teenager that every time we preached and asked when it would stop the answer would be: "till jehovah tells us it is no longer necessary"?.

  the amount of literature is dropped... there are no old bibles... they sell all kind of keylocations all across the globe etc etc etc ... all money is getting centered to one spot one way or another.. also... if shit is gonna happen worldwide (maybe a "normal" world war or something) it is actually not a strange thought that one day soon they may announce something like the following:.

  three interlocked rings with three points that make a triangle shape when joined.. .

  does not three linked circles symbolise the trinity?.

  EOM you need to read more, It is all well worked out how things work at the atomic and molecular levels, but most of us never bothered to read anything about it if it conflicted with our preconcieved notions of ID, dont be one of them.

  Yes, I saw a bright red dot do a figure J in the sky over Port Talbot while driving at night and then disappear, .... made my heart race.

  Only later did I realise it was my cars red security LED in the middle of the dash reflecting in the side window into my eye as I looked out over the town while driving, my head movement giving it the J shape it described.

  page 6, "the need to search for the truth".

  says this....and i couldn't agree with it more!

  this file is being passed around by jehovah's witnesses concerning adjustments in understanding the 2013/7/15/watchtower.

  the first draft they prepared had a typing error, and nevada sent the draft back to the jws for correction.

  they corrected the typing error and sent it back to nevada.

  who has actually read the entire Bible?

  no matter how many times i've tried, i just couldn't get through the whole thing.

  you know, there were always those reminders to read the bible, have a personal study, go out in service, and.... the other two of the five things we were supposed to do i already forgot.

  so, i constantly felt guilty that i just had no interest.
